Safe Harbor

Please note that if you use the Castle website in the European Union (“EU”), Personal Information about you may be transferred outside the EU.  Castle recognizes that the European Union has an “omnibus” data protection regime established pursuant to the European Data Protection Directive (95/46/EC) (the “Directive”). Among other things, the Directive generally requires “adequate protection” for the transfer of personally identifiable information about individuals in the European Union countries to Castle’s operations in the United States. Castle accordingly adheres to the requirements of the US-EU Safe Harbor Privacy Framework (“Safe Harbor”) as set forth by the US Department of Commerce with respect to the collection, use, and retention of personal information from European Union member countries. Castle has certified that it adheres to the Safe Harbor Privacy Principles of notice, choice, onward transfer, security, data integrity, access, and enforcement. You can request access to Personal Information we hold about you, to have inaccurate Personal Information updated, corrected or removed, and to object to the processing of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Statement for legitimate purposes, except where data processing is implemented in compliance with mandatory provisions of applicable law.
